Alexandre Barros is a leader in the medical device sector, specializing in innovation, entrepreneurship, and healthcare with over a decade of experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Regenerative Medicine from University of Minho (Portugal), an MBA from WU Executive Academy (Vienna, Austria), as well as he is an IP and Innovation Manager at 3Bs Research Group - University of Minho (Portugal). Alexandre is the CEO and Co-Founder of Hydrumedical S.A. company (https://hydrumedical.pt/), a medical device company that is focused on the development and commercialization of innovative medical devices in different areas, including biomaterials, as well as regulatory requirements and clinical validation.  He also has his own consultancy company (https://abhealthcare-consulting.com/), which is dedicated to licensing healthcare intellectual property portfolio and go-to-market consulting services. Additionally, Alexandre heads Bioceramed S.A., a Portuguese company specialized in the development, manufacturing and sale of medical devices for different areas, including orthopedic, traumatology, spine and dental surgery. Alexandre has published >30 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals with an h-index of 16 and  >900 citations.
